Christ Church Choir
The Christ Church Choir is a warm, welcoming multi-generational group
of
singers from a wide variety of musical backgrounds. They are
united in the joy of singing and dedicated to
providing music for our Sunday worship service.
The choir also sings for concerts and special services

The Choir rehearses Thursday
evenings from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and Sunday mornings before the
10:00 a.m. Eucharist.
Music Director: Laura Ramsey Russell
Laura was named Choir Director in September 2001 and became both
Organist
and Choir Director in June 2007.
Laura holds a Doctor of Musical Arts
degree in conducting from the Hartt School, and a Masters of Fine Arts
degree from SUNY Purchase. Laura has taught music at Marist College and
Dutchess Community College in the Hudson Valley, and at the music
conservatories of SUNY Purchase and the Hartt School.
